LFA Broadcast Producer
From the LFA's inception, I have had the privilege to lead a very talented team to optimize the viewing experience of the premier developmental organization in mixed martial arts. Every event I work with key stakeholders to develop a plan, which I make into a rundown for the show. I get my hands dirty in all aspects of production and work closely with the on-camera talent and the technical production team to execute out each broadcast. I pride myself in facing challenges head on as we have expanded to an international market, diversified our on-air talent, and transitioned from cable to streaming services. - Team of 20
New Japan Pro Wrestling Broadcast Producer
New Japan Pro Wrestling was already a well established when I came on board. However, the storied wrestling promotion had never gone outside of the confines of Japan until 2017 when a partnership with AXS TV put me at the helm of their live production. With the help our Japanese television partners, we recreated the look, and feel of the NJPW product for the United State market. The live broadcast was a tremendous success in the US along with Japan and paved the way for many more shows to come. I was lucky enough to work with Jim Ross, Kevin Kelly, Josh Barnett, and Rocky Romero during 6 events broadcasting New Japan Pro Wrestling. - Team of 40
Vail Lacrosse Shootout
In 2021, I took over as a one man band for the Vail Lacrosse Shootout's live broadcasts. I determined how to stream with limited resources and internet by using OBS as a control center (for replays, graphics, and commercials) and integrating the output through a LiveU to avoid any dropped coverage. I created a graphics package and shot slow motion highlights to utilize where it made sense in the broadcast. The most foreign part of the whole experience was doing commentary without any preparation as the volunteer commentators were MIA after a night of partying. I look forward to continuing to improve this product every year in the future.
